It was double delight for Arun Vijay on Sunday for he had to attend two functions back to back. One was the music release of his forthcoming film ‘Maanja Velu’ and the other to celebrate the success of his last venture ‘Malai Malai’.

Interestingly, both the films are directed by A Venkatesh and produced by Feather Touch Entertainments, a production house run by Arun Vijay’s in-laws.

And this was rightly pointed out at the music launch function by Srikanth and Sundar C, who, on a funny note, wanted to adopt Arun’s father-in-law Dr Mohan for a while so that he could produce movies for them.

The first copy of the audio CD of ‘Maanja Velu’, which has musical score by Mani Sharma, was released by lyricist Vaalee and received by director K S Ravikumar. In his address, Arun Vijay thanked Mohan and Venkatesh for cooperating with him to a great extent.

Others who had attended the function were Producers Council chief Rama Narayanan, secretary Sivasakthi pandian, director Shakthi Chidambaram, actors Karthik, Shaam, Jai, Sibi and proudcer M Hemanth.
