Joining the list of movies inspired by real-life incidents is 'Pachai Engira Kaathu' produced by 'A' Thirai Niruvanam and directed by debutant Keera, who worked as an associate to V Sekar, Durai and Thangar Bachchan.

Keera strongly believes that good themes close to everyone’s heart would win the laurels of movie-buffs. "Pachai Engira Kaathu is a crystal-clear illustration of such motif as it has a heart-melting story of a youngster’s journey of life and death," he says.

He says the movie is based on a real life incident of a 27-year-old man, who is no more now. "This film is about a youngster’s wrong perception about political world that lets him drench in convulsions," he adds.

"The protagonist's name is Pachai Ramkumar and you can find him everywhere. That's why the title," he says and adds: "The complete movie is shot on a night, where his life is narrated from seven individuals point of views." Newcomer Vasagar plays the lead role. Debutante Saranya stars opposite him.
