A freak mishap on the sets of ‘Vaanam’ has not dampened the spirits of Bharath. After a few days rest, the actor is back to work full of energy and he hopes that his forthcoming projects would place him in a better position in the highly competitive Tamil film industry.

The actor, who has recently shed his ‘Chinna Thalapathi’ sobriquet, is currently acting in ‘Yuvan Yuvathi’, a film directed by G N R Kumaravelan of ‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ fame. He is one of the lead players of ‘Vaanam’, which also has Silambarasan.

Besides, the actor’s ‘Thiruthani’, which is directed by Perarasu, with whom he joined hands earlier for ‘Pazhani’, is also getting ready to see the light of the day. A couple of other projects are also there, sources close to him say.

Says Bharath, “Yuvan Yuvathi is an innovative script and all credits should go to Kumaravelan. It is a youthful subject. I would like to prove myself in all kind of scripts. So I am trying my hands at contrast roles.”
