Even as busy shooting for '7am Arivu', in which she is acting opposite Suriya, Shruthi Haasan has crooned a song for 'Udhayan', a film starring 'Vamsam' hero Arulnidhi in lead role.

The song was set to tune by Manikanth, son of Saxophone exponent Kadri Gopalnath. "Shruthi's voice perfectly sat on the tune and everyone was happy about the output," sources in the know say.

'Udhayan' is Arulnidhi's first city subject, directed by Chaplin, who had worked as an assistant to popular directors Dharani, Karu Pazhaniappan and Pandiraj.

Produced by Prabhakaran on Muthamizh Padaippagam banner, the movie has cinematography by S D Vijay Milton and stunts by Dilip Subbarayan. The film is set to hit the screens by the end of April.

"It is a beautiful script set in the backdrop of the city. I play Udhayan, a happy go lucky youngster. The film is about the experiences he undergoes in his life," says the young actor.
