We first saw him in director Shankar’s teen film ‘Boys’. Thaman has come a long way from the film that launched him to the film industry. Today he has made a mark for himself in the cine industry as a music director. His tunes in ‘Eeram’ were appreciated and enjoyed by all.

Now the budding composer has joined hands with director Arivazhagan once again after ‘Eeram’ for a film that has a basketball game as its backdrop. The young composer who is overjoyed to team up with Nakul another buddy of the ‘Boys’ gang has revealed that it is fun to tune for a film based on a game. Nakul is the hero of this yet-to-be-titled film.

Thaman lights up talking about his upcoming project ‘Vanthaan Ventraan’ which has Jeeva, Santhanam, Nandha and Tapsee in the lead roles. He says the music of this film is going to rock because it is a mix of many genres in music. The tracks have pop, rock, jazz and even Rajasthani tunes, suggest sources.

Thaman is having his hands full in Tollywood too where he has almost five films to lend his tunes to. ‘Bodyguard’ the Telugu remake of ‘Kavalan’ too will be composed by Thaman. The film will star Venkatesh and Trisha in lead roles. The music director will also be composing for a song in a Bharath film in Tamil, another actor from the ‘Boys’ zone.

We look forward to the upcoming albums from this budding talent!
