Kollywood big guns attend Jaya’s swearing-in

Former South Indian Film Artistes Association president and DMDK supremo Vijayakanth, the present chief of Nadigar Sangam R Sarath Kumar and Tamil Film Producers Council president S A Chandrasekar attended the swearing-in ceremony of AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister in Chennai Monday.

Others from the tinsel town who had marked their presence at the simple yet splendid function that took palce in the Madras University Centenary Auditorium were veteran actresses Anjali Devi and Sowcar Janaki and ace singer P Suseela.

Popular actress and producer Radhika accompanied her husband Sarath Kumar, who is also an alliance partner of the AIADMK and was elected as a MLA from Tenkasi constituency in the recently concluded Assembly elections.

‘Captain’ Vijayakanth, who is all set to become the Opposition Leader in the State Assembly, also had a brief chat with Jayalalithaa. Along with other leaders, he attended a lunch party hosted by the Chief Minister at a star hotel later in the day.
