Along with Chiyaan Vikram starrer 'Deiva Thirumagal' comes another treat for movie buffs as UTV is also showcasing Lingusamy's 'Vettai' trailer during the screening of this film.

'Vettai' that is directed by Lingusamy has Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul essaying lead roles and is gearing up for a diwali release. The film is set in Thuthookudi and sees Madhavan as a laidback cop with a paunch.

Madhavan's earlier venture with Lingusamy, 'Run' raised him to an action hero status and was one commercial hit audience won’t forget for long. A famous scene in this film is one where Madhavan when surrounded by goons in a subway, runs from the place, not to flee but to close down the shutters and beat up the baddies. This scene was a rage among fans.

We had earlier reported that this Lingu-Maddy offering, 'Vettai', will have a scene that will be like a tribute to the earlier hit. This scene is a part of the trailer, but, it’s not Maddy who closes the shutter. While goons close down a shutter trapping them all in a godown, Maddy asks, "Enakae shutter moodringala...?"

Madhavan's fans were all glee and cheered for the star throughout the trailer, especially for this 'Run' tribute scene.
