Though Tamil by birth and upbringing, Kamal Hassan is so multilingual that he convincingly fits into every language zone in the country. One such distinction for Ulaga Nayagan is in the Mollywood industry, where he has worked on so many films that it is not bizarre when one thinks that he is a Malayali in the first place. Kamal himself seconds this statement, giving the stats; "Many may think I am originally an actor in Mollywood, who has gone on to make a career in K-town and other Woods. I think I must credit this to the 50 plus projects I have done in Malayalam" he says.

Further to the excitement of Mallu fans, Kamal added that he will be doing a project for the audience of God's own country. However, on cross checking with the actor on his statement at the Goa International Film Festival, sources close to Kamal Hassan reveal that plans of Mollywood project are not in the picture in the near future. Kamal was last seen in a cameo in Saji Surendran's 'Four Friends', and Malayalam audience are eager to catch him in complete action soon. Kamal on the other hand is tied up with all the projects he is currently working on, and has M-town in mind for a later date.
