Diya has decided to correct her mistakes and make a serious attempt in films. After Kurumbu she had no films except for dreams with Dhanush. Dreams were caught in litigation with the producer and director fighting over the dates. After that problem was over the director saw Diya looking like elder sister of Dhanush. The director ordered Diya to reduce her weight. Meanwhile Kasthooriraja introduced a Mumbai model as second heroine. Sensing problem Diya on a crash diet reduced her weight and now looks slim. She has decided to be very professional. She has finished her work in dreams and signed four films one of which is Karka Kasadra. Slimness pays.
