Vikram has decided to turn producer.

He will produce a film directed by Priyanandan the director of Malayalam film Neyuthukaran.

The debut film won the director many awards. Priyanandan was to direct a film based on the novel Sabdhangal written by Vaikom Mohamed Basheer . Mammoty was to act in the film but later backed out due to date problems. Vikram who is busy with `Anniyan’ agreed to act in this film which is purely arty in nature and has no commercial elements.

Vikram who bagged the best actor award at the national level for Pithamaghan is probably making a second bid with this film.
