Artistes star nit in Dubai- Abu dhabi

Nadigar Sangham the artistes association is to conduct star nite in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in December. The funds raised from this will towards the construction of a new building with preview theatre, gym, dancing hall, auditorium, library etc. Vijaykant left with producer Khaja Moideen to visit the venues and tie-up with sponsors. The reason for doing the star nite abroad was that the sponsorship amount was very heavy. If it were in Chennai the amount would be lesser. Some say the move to shift the star nite from Chennai was political.
