After the much talked about muhurat on the Vijayadasami Day, Rajnikanth's Chandramukhi quietly went on to the floors on Monday. The venue was Sivaji Garden situated in Chennai.

Director P Vasu shot the first scene involving Rajnikanth bashing around 25 baddies.

The talk, however, was centered on Rajni's looks and get-up.

Spotted in a jeans and T-shirt, the actor looked youthful and refreshed. The slovenly particularities of his public appearances were gone. He is expected to have a special wig that will make him sport a hairstyle similar to the one he had in his 90s hit Rajadi Raja.

Choreographed by stunt master Dinesh, Rajnikanth was seen taking on the fighters with authoritative gusto. He knows after all the talk, it was time to walk that talk.

Quite like in his earlier venture Baba, all the technicians and artistes involved in the project have been issued identity cards and entry is restricted without them. This has been done to ensure that the details of the movie are kept under wraps till its release.

The entire crew would be now moving to Hyderabad to shoot from 1 November.
