Simbu is busy completing the post-production of his film Manmadhan. Silambarasan himself has penned the story and screenplay for Manmadhan.

The actor happy with his work in the movie, he has apparently approached his father T Rajendhar to produce a new movie which would have him in the lead role, besides story, screenplay, dialogues and direction all by himself.

The movie might go to floors early next year.

Meanwhile, in appreciation of the great freedom given by director A J Murugan in Manmadhan, Simbu has accepted to compose music for Murugan's next directorial venture.
