After delivering two path breaking movies, Attakaththi` & Madras`, Pa. Ranjith is joining hands with Suriya for a commercial entertainer. A few sources claimed that it will be a romantic tale, but the same has been dismissed by the director himself. At the success party of Madras`, Ranjith told that all his movies would carry a message related to the politics and he will not shy away from picturising the true colors of our faulty model.

In a recent interview, Ranjith confirmed that, everything has been finalized regarding the movie with Suriya and Studio Green will be bankrolling the project. He adds that, Chennai will not be the central theme unlike his previous movies and he will be waiting for Suriya to complete Masss` & Vikram Kumar`s project
