Maniratnam is a task master as he got the track record of completing his movies within a short period of time and Okay Kanmani` seems to be no exception. There was a strong buzz that Dulquer Salman – Nithya Menon starrer will be on the lines of Alaipayuthey` and the same has been confirmed by its cameraman, P.C. Sreeram.

“You can say that the movie is an extended version of Alaipayuthey`, but it is going to be very fresh. Maniratnam got the knack of reading the current trend really well; albeit being a love story, the lead pair wouldn`t utter, I Love You` not more than thrice in the movie.” – Says Sreeram.
