The distributors of Trichy, Tanjore, Knayakumari, North Arcot/South Arcot have met the press today and shared that 'Lingaa' has caused major loss to them. They also accuse that, Vendhar Movies has forced them to buy the movie for 8 crores, while 'Enthiran' itself has grossed only 7 crores in its lifetime run.

The distributors` also questioned, why did Rajini rope in Rockline Venkatesh to produce this movie, since he already carries a black mark by selling, Vikram starrer 'Majaa' for a whopping price based on the success of, 'Anniyan' and never returned to TN for 9 long years.

The distributors' are pleading for Rajinikanth to meet them and disclosed that 'Lingaa' hasn't garnered the collections of 'Kochadaiyaan'.
