'VIP 2' from April

It has emerged that the proposed sequel to 'Velaiyilla Pattathari' would hit the floors in April. The project has once again brought together Dhanush, cinematographer-director Velraj, Anirudh and editor Rajeshkumar.

"But Amala Paul will be replaced by another top actress. However, Vivekh and other key members of the cast and the crew will be retained," sources said.

"VIP 2 will be loaded with more funny and racy moments. Velraj is currently giving finishing touches to the script, while pre-production works are also on," they added.
