In some sense, Jay Akash is the most happening actor in the industry.

Jay Akash is currently acting in more than six Tamil films simultaneously besides a couple of Telugu movies.

The actor, who made his debut in vain in Tamil in Rojavanam, went to Tollywod where successive hits made him a star.

However, the actor wanted to establish his presence in Tamil filmdom and hence managed to get a couple of offers in Kollywood. Jay Akash is now acting in moves including Sevel, Gurudeva, Katrullavarai.

But all is not well for him. A section in the industry blames Jay Akash for accepting all that comes his way. "But he never turns up for the shoots," they allege.

When asked the actor says, "it's a rumor spread by a few in the industry who are jealous of my progress. I was instrumental in providing financial help for the release of Ramakrishna. I know the difficulties of a producer and hence I will never play truant. As far as my Sevvel goes, I gave bulk dates within which they could not complete the movie.

"Now when I cannot adjust my dates for them, they are blaming me and spreading false news about me".
