Mumtaj seems to have overcome all controversies that surrounded her almost a month ago. The confusion over her real name Nagma and the aleged connection with gangster Anees Ibrahim seems to have blown over.

Now she is at ease with herself

And following a significant role in Sundar C's London, released last week, she is hoping for similar offers pouring her way now. She is just not glamour puss in that film. Her role runs all through and she is happy for it.

She is also happy that T Rajendar's Veersamy has gone to floors finally for she plays the heroine in the movie.

Asked if she gets very little offers these days, Mumtaj shoots back saying, "I have already acted in many films and had earned enough fame. Here after, I am not going to act in single song sequence or just in a couple of scenes for the sake of money. I am consciously skipping such offers coming my way. I have learnt to become choosy".

Mumtaj now wants to add more meat to her CV. She is at a stage where she wants more challenging roles.

"Talks are on to act in three movies now. I have good character roles in all these films. Interestingly one among them is a film on the struggles of womanhood".

Struggles of woman and Mumtaj hmm, let's see.
