It was delightful gathering of Kollywood personalities at Vijay Shree Mahal, a marriage Hall in Chennai on Sunday, when the audio of director Saravana Subbiah's forthcoming film ABCD was released.

Saravana Subbiah, who directed Citizen a few years back, said "after Citizen, all the producers here thought that I was a director who churns out only mega budget movies. This sparked in me a fire to give a low-budget hit. Thus came in to being ABCD."

"Even before I began Citizen, I got a call from RB Choudhary's Super Good Films to do ABCD for their production house. Unfortunately it couldn't take off then. ABCD will be a movie of difference in Tamil.

It would not have the ingredients of a typical commercial film, but I sincerely hope it would ultimately emerge successful".

The director chose to release one song after another on the podium.

A host of popular celebrities gathered at the venue took to the podium and released them one by one. ABCD has nine songs set to tunes by Imman.

A live performance of all the nine songs was made on the occasion.

ABCD features Shaam, Sneha, Aparna and 'Success' fame Nandhana in the lead roles.

Among those who took part in the celebrations include T G Thiyagarajan, president, Tamil Film Producer Council, directors K S Ravikumar, Hari, Dharani, S J Suryah, actresses Asin, Sandhya, Aparna.
