Vijayakanth plays villain?

Vijayakanth is keenly awaiting the release of his next Perarasu directed by a debutant Udhayan.

Busy gearing up for his political entry on one side, Captain is also acting in Perarasu besides his home production Swadeshi.

But details about Perarsu are painstakingly kept under wraps. According to industry men, Vijayakanth after a long time plays a dual role in the movie: One as a CBI man and other as a bad villain.

The second role may be the surprise packet, sources say.

A newcomer Damini plays his ladylove.

Khaja Mohideen, who attempted suicide recently, is producing Perarasu.

The movie is all set for release this Independence Day.
