A grand function will be held in Chennai on Sunday (9 October) to celebrate the 100 days run of the Sathyaraj starrer Englishkaran.

Sakthi Chidambaram directed the movie with Sathyaraj, Namitha, Madhumitha and Vadivelu.

To coincide with the completion of the 100 days of its run in a few theatres in the State, Sakthi Chidambaram would be holding a mega function in Chennai.

The cast and crew of the movie besides who's who of Kollywood are expected to take part in the celebrations.

A happy Sakthi Chidambaram said. 'the movie's success has proved that me and Sathyaraj are a winning duo. Close on the heels of Maha Nadigan's success, Englishkaran too has done well. We hope to emulate the success in our forthcoming ventures'.
