Ever since Prashanth's Petrol commenced, it was said that Laila would be playing the heroine.

Directed by Venkatesh, a portion of the film was shot in Chennai and also in a huge set erected at Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, the buzz is that Laila is not seen any where in the shooting spots and that the director has been canning only portions involving Prashanth in the movie.

It is also said that the actress was approached, but she has declined the offer. The crew is reportedly searching for a fresh face now.
