Mumtaj is a good artiste who has enough acting prowess. Wonder why she took to glamour roles and item numbers, says Crazy Mohan, who has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie Jerry which features Mumtaj in the lead role.
She plays a heroine in the movie and her comical sense and improvisations on the sets did amaze me. A dedicated artiste, she should choose her roles with care in future and establish herself as a performing actress, he adds.
Mumtaj started her career with T Rajendhar's Monisha En Monalisa. But went the glamour way and even appeared for item numbers.
