More join Captain's team

Having made an impact in the recently concluded State elections, actor-turned-politician and president of Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam president Vijayakanth had more joining his team on Sunday.

On Sunday morning over 2,000 cadres from various political parties joined DMDK at the party headquarters in Chennai in the presence of Vridhachalam MLA Vijayakanth.

Speaking at the function, Vijayakanth said, 'We won over 25 lakh votes in the Assembly elections. We should secure over 50 lakh votes in the forthcoming local body elections.'

He urged all those who joined his party to work tirelessly for the public welfare, instead of eyeing for plum posts in DMDK.
