Vadivelu - No laughing matter this

Vadivelu recently created a stir by launching into a tirade against the makers of the film Uyir.

The director Samy has been quick to hit back. Samy has said that Vaidvelu’s vitriolic outpouring against Uyir was with an ulterior motive.

Uyir starring Srikanth and Sangeetha is about a young widow who covets her brother-in-law.

Samy said, 'When censor board has certified the film and cleared it, one wonders why Vadivelu is annoyed and agitated. I ensured that there are no third grade scenes in my movie'.

'Even famous directors like Satyajit Ray had dealt on such issues. It is a pity that Vadivelu has made such callous and irresponsible remarks on my film.'
