Prashanth's wife Grihalakshmi delivered a baby boy at a private hospital in Chennai on Wednesday. Both the child and the mom are safe, said sources in the hospital.

Prashanth is currently busy shooting abroad. It may be recalled that Prashanth married Grihalakshmi last year.

Prashanth's family members distributed sweets in the hospital.
