For some strange reason, Vijayakanth had stopped shooting at foreign locales. All his recent movies were completely canned here. Vijayakanth had not stepped out of Indian shores even for the mandatory song sequences.

Now this history is changing.

After a decade, Vijayakanth will shoot at foreign locations. Captain will shoot for a couple of songs abroad next month for Sabari.

The movie directed by Suresh features Jyothirmayi opposite Vijayakanth.

Produced by Salem Chandrasekhar, the movie went to floors a month ago.

Vijayakanth had last shot abroad for Vanchinathan.

Sabari is an action-packed entertainer where Vijayakanth plays a doctor.

The movie carries a social message and would be an eye-opener just like Ramana, says Suresh.

The crew would be off for a week to shoot abroad.
