It was always bound to happen. What with his films portraying larger-than-life characters out to help the poor and needy, it was only a matter of time that Rajinikanth borrowed a leaf out of his films in real life.

The man who silently helps many maybe now planning to do that in a bigger scale.

The news is that Rajini has bought huge stretches of land in a place called Ponneri near Chennai.

The plan, as per the wind blowing in Kollywood, is build a multi-speciality hospital and a school for the benefit of the poor.

Indeed life imitates for Rajini. And that’s good.
