Silently making a mark for herself in Kollywood is Priyanka.

The young actress made her debut in Tamil with Veyyil directed by Vasanthabalan and produced by Shankar. She played Pasupathy's ladylove in the movie. Her performance was widely acclaimed.

Now the actress is busy acting in a couple of movies in Tamil.

In Thiruththam, Priyanka plays opposite choreographer-turned-actor Harikumar. Also she is cast opposite Vikramadithya for the movie Tholaipesi.“Both the movies feature me in prominent role. I am no regular heroine who runs around trees and romance. There is enough scope for me to show my acting credentials,” says Priyanka.

She is happy that a prominent production house in Tollywood had urged her to act in their next production venture.
