Bowled over by Sridevi - Kamna Jethmalani

Kamna Jethmalani is back after a brief hiatus in Tamil cinema. She started her career with Idhaya Thirudan opposite Jayam Ravi. However the movie did not do well at the box office.

Undeterred, Kamna fought her way in Tollywood. She emerged the sought-after actress with hits including Ranam under her belt. The actress makes her foray in Tamil again with Machakaran. She is paired opposite Jeevan in the movie.

Kamna says, “It was my conscious decision to stay away from Kollywood after Idhaya Thirudan. I wanted to wait for a good script”.

Kamna Jethmalani is a great admirer of Sridevi. She says, “I grew up watching Sridevi's films. She is my role model. I would love to work in a movie like Sadma”.
