Director - actor Parthiban, known for his unique and casual style of acting, is now a busy bee. He is getting some plump roles to boost his career as a versatile performer. He has been roped in for an important role in Selvaraghavan's ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’. The role was initially written for Dhanush but finally it landed on Parthiban’s lap.

Meanwhile Madhumitha, a former associate of director Gautham Menon, will be directing Parthiban in ‘Vallamai Thaaraayo’. Though Madhumitha opted for Prithviraj initially, she has now decided to have Parthiban in the lead role. Now she is in search of a heroine.

Parthiban meanwhile, hasn’t given up directing films. He is directing ‘Vithagan’, in which he plays the lead role.
