The flower blossoms, even amidst adverse conditions, as blossoming is its nature. ‘Poo’, directed by Sasi and produced by Moserbaer Entertainment, talks about two such persons, who blossom like flowers.

Moserbaer Entertainment, known for producing quality movies with low budget, has joined hands with director Sasi’s Nesaki Cinemas to produce ‘Poo’, starring the Srikanth in the lead.

The movie is evolving as a gentle and poetic experience on screen. The story is based on a short story by renowned writer Thamil Chelvan. ‘Poo’ deals with a love story with a rural and semi urban background.

Director Sasi is a director, who has proved his worth as a distinctive director, with films like ‘Sollamaley’, ‘Roja Kootam’, and ‘Disyum’. All the three films admirably dealt with sensitive subjects. More importantly, all went on to become hit movies.

New music director S.S Kumaran does the music, while Na Muthukumar pens the lyrics. Kumaran is a student of Adyar Film Institute. The recording of six songs is over. The songs are said to be the highlight of the film.

Cinematography is done by debutant P.G. Muthiya who had the experience of working with Ravi K Chandran, Ravivarman, Rajarathnam, and Kadhir.

Srikanth, the comeback man, pairs up with Parvathy, a new face to Tamil from Malayalam. She has rendered noteworthy performances in ‘Notebook’ and Flash fame. The whole unit is all in praise of Parvathy’s natural way of acting. Srikanth is very excited about this project, which could put him back on the track.

The film is being extensively shot in and around Rajapalayam district. It is expected to be released as a summer treat.

Moserbaer deserves special appreciation for coming forward to make such movies, which could propel the standard of Tamil cinema to another level.

Since the taste of the Tamil audiences is becoming healthier, we could expect that ‘Poo’ would be received by them with enthusiasm.
