‘Vellithirai’, the joint venture by Prakash Raj's duet movies, Moser Bear, and Mirchi Movies will hit the silver screens on March 7. The movie, which was speculated to be postponed, has made all the rumours wrong. The censorship process is over and movie has been given "U" certificate.

‘Vellithirai’, the remake of Malayalam hit movie ‘Udhayananu Tharam’, is released with around 115 prints in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. The movie takes a tongue-n-cheek approach of the tinsel town and its star centric culture.

The film, according to insiders, is a hilarious film, with right dosage of sentiments. In Chennai the movie will be released in nine theaters with 27 shows a day.

The successful combo of Prithviraj and Prakash Raj is expected to recreate the magic of Mozhi, which was one of the super hit movies during 2007.
