Shriya Saran is happy at being part of a Sarath Kumar's film 'Jaggubhai'. The pretty damsel, who hogged the limelight doing movies like 'Sivaji' and 'Azhagiya Thamizh Magan', is more than happy to enact a meaty role and that too in a film to be directed by K S Ravikumar.

She says, 'it is a girl-centric script and I am sure to have a great opportunity to perform well'.

'Jaggubhai' interestingly was supposed to star Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. However due to undisclose reasons, the project was shelved. The film is to be made with Sarath Kumar now.

Says the actress, 'I am very impressed by the story narrated by K S Ravikumar and I felt doubly so, when I came to know that superstar Rajinikanth had once planned to act in this movie.'

When asked about the story, Shriya said, 'it's all about a dotting father, who cares for his daughter. The travails he faces and the challenges he overcomes forms the crux.'

Shriya is hopeful that the movie would go on to prove that she can not only ooze with glamour but also can perform challenging roles on screen with eased and élan.
