Sanjana made her debut with the film 'Kokki' in which she starred with Karan. Though the movie managed a decent run, she could not make it big in Tamil filmdom.
After undergoing a name change to Pooja Gandhi, the actress ventured to Kannada films and acted in a slew of films. A film named ÂMungaru Malle took her to glory as it managed a silver jubilee run.
Though she is a name to reckon with in Kannada, her hearts seems to beat for Tamil films. She has replaced debutant Taniya Vakil in 'Thiruvannamalai' which is directed by Perarasu, produced by Kavithalaya Films and stars Arjun. A major portion of the movie has been completed.
Sources close to the actress say that she has played her part exceedingly well with the right shades of glamour and this is sure to take her to greater heights.
