Meera Jasmine pairs up with Prashanth

Finally actor Prashanth seems to have overcome all issues. He is all set to resume his career which was left hanging for awhile. He would be playing the lead role in a Tamil movie again.

Prashanth will be playing the lead role in the remake of his father Thyagarajan's mega hit 'Mammattiyan'. The remake version will feature Meera Jasmine playing his ladylove. She will don the role enacted by Saritha in the original.

Prakash Raj, Vadivelu among others will be in the cast. To be produced and directed by Thiyagarajan himself, the movie would go to the sets very soon.
