Director Panneerselvam’s ‘Renigunta’ was to hit the floor this weekend but has been postponed to first week of December.

This is already one anticipated movie as people who have watched ‘Renigunta’ already have gone gaga over it and just can’t stop praising. On the other hand Ganesh Raghavendran’s audio has topped the audio chart already.

Sources say that the censor board has kept their sharp scissors over the film again as it shows violent and brutal scenes performed by teenagers with the help of special graphic detailing. Looks like the film is referred to the Revising Committee in Mumbai for further proceedings.

It’s worthy to mention that when producer Chakravarthy screened the first one hour of the film to the distributors, everyone were keen to buy the film for good rate. Surprisingly, all the areas were sold in one single day.

‘Renigunta’ is about five young boys who escape from Madurai juvenile jail to Mumbai and on the way gets down at a place called Renigunta. What happens to the youngsters there forms the crux of the story.

With the expectation meter so high, let’s wait to see if reality strikes again through ‘Renigunta’!
