Trailers of Ajith’s ‘Asal’ screened across theatres and media channels have enthused diehard fans of the actor all over the world. The teasers are sleek and stylish- implicitly telling what kind of film ‘Asal’ is going to be.

“I couldn’t believe my eyes when I was watching a Republic Day special show on a television channel. Yes, the much-awaited trailer of Thala’s ‘Asal’ was on air. It was stunning. I was so thrilled to watch Ajith in action again,” says a Chennai-based techie.

Echoing him is a college-goer, who is an ardent fan of Ajith. “The trailer has no doubt raised the expectations on the movie. I am sure that ‘Asal’ is going to be one of the important films in Ajith’s career.”

Produced by Sivaji Productions, ‘Asal’ brings together Ajith and director Saran for the fourth time. All the three earlier films of the duo (‘Kadhal Mannan’, ‘Amarkkalam’ and ‘Attagasam’) turned out to be blockbusters.

The film features Ajith in a dual role (that of a father and a son) with Sameera Reddy and Bhavana as heroines. Bharadwaj's musical score is expected to be one of the highlights of the movie, which is set to hit screens on February 5.
