The Telugu hit ‘Ready’ has brought together Dhanush and Salman Khan. While the promising actor of south India is doing the Tamil remake, the Bollywood’s top star will be the protagonist of the Hindi version.

The remake rights for Hindi have been brought from the original producers by popular filmmaker Aneesh Bazmi, who has confirmed that he would do the film with Salman in the lead. “Other things have to be finalised however,” he said.

Titled ‘Uthamaputhiran’, the Tamil film has Genelia opposite Dhanush. After the experience of directing Dhanush in two films- ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’ and ‘Kutty’, Mithran R Jawahar is working with the actor for the third time.

Says Dhanush, “the script is so racy and could be made in any language. It has got all commercial ingredients and I am hopeful that ‘Uthamaputhiran’ would strike a chord with Tamil audience. Working again with Jawahar is a nice experience.”
