It was wayback in 1997 Nagarjuna’s last Tamil film ‘Ratchagan’ hit the screens. From then, the actor’s Telugu flicks were dubbed and released in Tamil (the latest is ‘Don’), but he has not acted in a direct Tamil movie.

And now the Tollywood top actor is back in Kollywood with a bang. And not just in one film, but two ventures which are touted to be real big entertainers. While the one being the bilingual ‘Payanam’ (‘Gaganam’ in Telugu), the other is ‘Mangaatha’, Ajith’s 50th film.

‘Payanam’ is produced by Prakash Raj and directed by Radha Mohan of ‘Mozhi’ and ‘Abhiyum Naanum’ fame. As many of us know, ‘Mangaatha’ will be directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri.

Speaking at a recent function in Hyderabad, Nagarjuna said, “I am extremely happy to be part of the film directed by Radha Mohan. It is a very good story which deals about an important issue.” ‘Payanam’, it is said, is all about the Kandahar flight hijack incident.
