SP Balasubramaniam has bagged several accolades in our country for his contribution to the film industry. Now, this legendry singer will be felicitated on June 5th at Shilpakalavedika in Hyderabad.

Ace actor Kamal Haasan and music maestro Illayaraja will be present at the honourable event to felicitate Balu. Sydney based NRI Koduri Ramamurthy is organizing the felicitation on behalf of fine arts and cultural themes association of Australia.

Koduri arranged a press conference in Hyderabad to announce the details of felicitation ceremony. Tanikella Bharani, Saikumar, Madhavapeddi Suresh et al participated in the press conference.

Koduri said that he decided to felicitate Balu on eve of him being conferred 'Padmabhushan' award by the Government of India recently.

"We have invited popular film personalities for this function. SPB is Telugu legend and it is our responsibility to honour him on this occassion. We are also launching the CD with lyrics penned by me ’Sabhash Raa Shankara.. .’ at the same venue on June 5th." actor Tanikella Bharani said.
