Vijaya T Rajendar has spilled the beans on his next venture, ‘Oru Thalai Kadhal’, saying that the film will be an out and out romantic entertainer, targeted at ‘youth audience’. “Because, only youngsters are coming to theatres these days,” he says.

The multifaceted personality, who is playing the lead role, besides directing the movie, says, “I can not make an En Thangai Kalyani or Thangaikor Geetham now. Things have totally changed and I am aware of it.”

“Today’s youth prefer films which convey love with humour and energy. So I will not direct sentiment movies henceforth. I am making ‘Oru Thalai Kadhal’ having in mind their expectations. It will be a full-fledged romantic flick.”

“Sincerity and hard work will always pay rich rewards,” TR says and adds: “These words are applicable for any field. When I came to cinema, I did not have crores (kodi), I only had a beard (thaadi). But success came in search of me (ennai thaedi).”
