We all know how Bollywood’s Prachi Desai was set to make her debut in Tamil through Arun Vijay's 'Thadayara Thakka' and how she left the shoot citing certain absurd reasons, leaving the team in a fix.

The latest is that, Mamta Mohandas has been roped in to play the female lead in this project! We last saw this Malayalam beauty a couple of years back in 'Guru En Aalu' alongside Madhavan and through 'Thadayara Thakka' we will be seeing her after her hiatus in Tamil films.

Not just that, this Arun Vijay offering is a two heroine subject and Rakul Preet Singh, a winner of beauty pageant Femina Miss India will play the other female lead.

Now that the lead ladies of the team has been finalized, shooting will be taking place at a brisk pace to compensate with dates loss incurred, thanks to Prachi Desai.
