This Friday boasts off a single release. But still, film-buffs are feeling happy, as the movie that is hitting the screens today has Vikram in the lead, that too in a different role. No prizes for guessing that we are talking about 'Deiva Thirumagal'.

Directed by A L Vijay of 'Kireedam' and 'Madraspattinam' fame, 'Deiva Thirumagal' has Vikram, Anushka, Amala Paul and Santhanam essaying lead roles. Sarah plays Vikram's daughter in the movie.

The film produced by Mogan Nadarajan's Sri Rajakaliamman Medias and presented by UTV Productions, is releasing across Tamil Nadu with maximum number of prints. G V Prakash Kumar has scored the music.

Vikram says all credits should go to director Vijay. "He has done a phenomenal job. Vijay is an epitome of sincerity and hard work and I enjoyed being part of such a thought-provoking film," the actor says.

In turn, Vijay is all praises for Vikram. "No other actor than Vikram could have done this role in such an excellent way. He is a gifted actor and the pains he took for Deiva Thirumagal were extraordinary. Great honours are waiting for him."
