Jai will soon start working on a 'solo' hero project, titled 'Vaalu'. "It will be directed by a newcomer and the actor is excited about the script and his role. He believes that the film would do the much needed magic to his career," reliable sources tell us.

The 'Chennai 600028' and 'Goa' actor, who is basking on the success of 'Engaeyum Eppothum', is currently shooting for 'Vettai Mannan' with his good friend STR aka Simbu. "The shooting of Vaalu will start once Vettai Mannan gets over," sources add.

"Vaalu will be a lively entertainer with equal importance to humour, romance and action. A popular actress will be roped in as the heroine," they further say.

In the recent times, rumour mills were working overtime suggesting that Jai is in love with his 'Engaeyum Eppothum' heroine Anjali. Earlier this week, the actress issued a statement denying any affair between them, which was followed by a declaration by Jai that "I will not marry an actress for sure".
