Vijay Antony in 'Salim'

Music composer Vijay Antony is pursuing his acting career in a rather serious way, one has to say. Close on the heels of the success of his maiden heroic venture 'Naan', he has now finalized two films.

While one has been titled 'Thirudan', the name of his other venture is 'Salim'. It is to be noted that the name of the character played by Vijay Antony in 'Naan' was Salim.

"The name is very close to my heart since it was my first character in front of the camera. Also, Salim suited well as the title of my next project. So we have named it so," says Vijay Antony.

The music director says he will simultaneously work on both the projects- 'Thirudan' and 'Salim'. "We are finalizing other details," he says.
