Director Rajeev Ravi's 'Annayum Rasoolum' was a critically acclaimed super hit movie in Malayalam. Now the movie is to be remade in Tamil to suit the Kollywood taste. In Malayalam, Fahad Fasil and Andrea Jeremiah played the lead roles, and it is buzzed that though the hero of the movie has not yet been finalized, Andrea will be the heroine nonetheless.
Sources also hint that Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies is interested in the remake and has hence acquired the rights for the same. However, an official word on all this is awaited. The original story narrates the love between Rasool the taxi driver and Anna the Latin American Christian. Sources say that this may also be altered a little bit to give it the ethnic Tamil touch.
