Suriya is on cloud nine these days… His recently released ‘Singham 2’ has hit the bull’s eye; by winning audience’s hearts as well as setting the box office collections ringing… Exceeding the expectations built on ‘Singam’ success, Suriya has delivered an amazing performance in ‘Singam 2’ too and proved that he is mass and class hero. While it is indeed a time for celebration, his birthday (which went by) also added to his happiness…

Not only on his homeland, Suriya even managed to woo his fans abroad with his latest venture. ‘Singam 2’ has become a huge success in USA and created records across US as well as in California Bay Area (San Francisco and San Jose). By end of first week, 50 shows were screened in Bay Area alone followed by 75 shows completed by end of second week and the movie is still marching bold towards 100th Show planned to be screened in the coming weekend (Jul 28) on the 25th day.

Following this, SuriyaRasigan.com, the Exhibitor of ‘Singam 2’ movie for Bay Area and Sacramento, organized a fabulous celebration of ‘Singam 2’ success with the viewers last week on Jul 13 when the 50th show of Bay Area was screened. The entire celebration was covered by Bay Area’s local TV channel IND TV USA which includes the exhibitor team and fans together celebrating the 75th show and Suriya’s Birthday by cutting a huge cake inscribed with Suriya image. What’s more, free ice creams were distributed among kids!

Incidentally, the movie exhibitor, SuriyaRasigan.com, has pledged to donate a portion of the past weekend ticket sales back to community through non-profits that supports the education fees and healthcare of poor people/kids in India.

Wow! That was truly an inspiring celebration – it’s all courtesy to Suriya’s charisma! Kudos to the star!
