At last, former Miss Universe Lara Dutta’s debut venture in Tamil Arasakthci will see the light of the day this month. The movie, which was in the cans for almost a year, would finally grace theatres by this month-end.

Produced by C TV Entertainment and directed by Maharajan, who made Vallarasu starring Vijayakanth, Arasaktchi features arjun in the lead role opposite Lara Dutta. Raghuvaran plays the role of a villain. Manivannan, Nasser, Vivek, Mansur Ali Khan, Charan Raj, Karan, Sriman and Damu are also in the cast.

Lara Dutta, on her role, she said, ‘I am playing the role of Arjun’s fiancee’.

Arasaktchi is a story of a lawyer. But Arjun, who is not playing the lawyer’s role, enters the scene when the lawyer is unable to get through a case.The movie has romance and a good dose of action. Most of the scenes are shot at foreign locales.

Harris Jayaraj has scored the music.
